It is very true that spiritual journey, new age movement and even psychic development is reaching a point that anyone can become a teacher or guru once they master a certain skill. Almost always people seek external teachings and experiences to validate inner spirit everyone has. It is ok to learn techniques and tools from others when searching for a spiritual experience, but thats exactly the message that many ancient teachers and sages have said over millenias and that is : Spiritual enlightenment is a personal and individual journey that works in conjunction with divine timing. The book The Calling by Rasha has great insight into being aware and cautious about giving one’s divine power to others to lead one into spiritual awareness.
