Express Wi- Fi in India

News: Facebook is trying Express Wi-fi in India
Facebook is trying  a different model of internet. This offers quality internet to rural parts of the country. It will empower local entrepreneurs to their neighbour hood and earn a steady income. Much like the cable TV connection which existed few years ago. This venture has come into the forefront, months after Facebook's Free basics/ Internet.org was criticized for violating net neutrality.

Free Basics was a service which wanted to provide internet to developing countries. Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi said that he wanted the entire country which has maximum villages to be connected with optical fibre cable.

Fun Fact: Net neutrality is all internet users are to be treated equally irrespective of the user, content, site, application, type of attachment. This law varies from country to country.
